These Terms govern your use of PixelForGood. By purchasing pixels or using this site you agree to them in full.
PixelForGood (pixelforgood.com) is a charity-driven pixel-advertising platform run by a private operator based in the European Union.
Operator legal and contact details are available on request and in the site footer. This is a community project — not an investor-backed corporation.
Pixels are sold as a digital advertising placement on a 1,000,000-pixel canvas. Standard pixels cost $1/pixel. The Golden Zone (centre 250×100 block) costs $10/pixel. 18+ placements cost $100/pixel — see section 7.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Local sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout.
Once confirmed, pixels are permanent for the lifetime of the project. There is no subscription fee.
For standard and Golden Zone pixels, 50% of the gross payment is allocated to the community charity fund.
For 18+ placements, 80% of the gross payment is allocated to the community charity fund.
Charity beneficiaries are chosen by public community vote at defined fund milestones. All transfers are publicly auditable.
You may not upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or which promotes violence or self-harm.
You may not upload content that impersonates another person or brand, or that misleads consumers as to its origin or nature.
You may not use pixels to distribute malware, phishing links, or to mislead users into unsafe transactions.
We reserve the right to reject or remove any pixel that violates these rules. Where we reject content during pre-publication moderation, you receive a full refund within 7 days.
All uploads are screened automatically and, where necessary, manually reviewed.
Violating content is removed without prior notice. No refund is given for content removed after publication due to a violation.
Repeat violations result in a permanent advertiser ban.
Pixels are digital goods delivered instantly — all sales are final once the pixel goes live.
Pre-publication rejection: full refund within 7 days.
Chargebacks filed without contacting support first may result in suspension of future purchases.
Adult content is permitted only under the strict conditions set out below. By submitting 18+ content you accept all of them as a binding contractual commitment in addition to the general Terms.
Adult placements cost USD 100 per pixel, i.e. 100× the standard pixel rate. This premium exists to keep the general canvas family-friendly, to raise the seriousness threshold for adult advertisers, and to generate meaningful charity impact. The $100/pixel rate is non-negotiable and applies regardless of placement on the canvas (Golden Zone pricing does not stack).
For every 18+ placement, 80% of the gross payment (before Stripe fees and applicable tax) is allocated to the community charity fund, instead of the standard 50%. This higher share is a defining feature of the 18+ programme: adult advertisers who use the platform fund disproportionate social good. This allocation is publicly reported.
All 18+ submissions undergo mandatory manual review before publication. Advertisers may be required to provide proof of age and of consent of depicted persons (2257-style records where applicable). Published 18+ placements are displayed only behind an explicit adult-content confirmation gate. Violations are removed immediately, without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.
If we reject the submission during moderation, you receive a full refund within 7 days. After publication, no refund is given if the placement is later removed due to a breach of this policy. Because 80% of the payment has been allocated to charity, post-publication chargebacks may be contested on that basis.
The advertiser warrants that they are 18 or older, that they are legally authorised to advertise the content in their jurisdiction, that they hold all rights and consents required, and that the content complies with all applicable laws. The advertiser indemnifies the operator against any third-party claim resulting from submitted 18+ content.
We accept 18+ advertisers because many operate lawful, licensed businesses that generate significant revenue and can fund disproportionate social good through this channel. At the same time, we refuse to let that category dilute the family-friendly character of the main canvas. The $100/pixel premium and 80% charity allocation together ensure that every 18+ pixel makes a clearly positive contribution — and the strict prohibitions above ensure we never profit from harm. This is deliberate, documented, and publicly accountable.
The platform is provided "as is". We make no guarantee about click-through rates, traffic, or business outcomes derived from pixel placements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a pixel purchase is limited to the amount paid for that pixel.
We collect only the data required to deliver the service (email, payment metadata, ad copy, destination URL). We do not sell or rent your data.
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to privacy@pixelforgood.com.
We comply with the EU GDPR and applicable consumer protection law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country of the operator's registration.
Consumer disputes may be brought before the competent consumer protection body in your country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
